📋 Agreement to Terms

Welcome to CollectInn! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of collectinn.com.au and all associated services, features, and content provided by CollectInn.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use CollectInn.

👤 Eligibility and Account Registration

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Users aged 13-18 must have parental or guardian consent
• Users under 18 may not make purchases without adult authorization

Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• One account per person (no duplicate accounts)

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the platform or other users.

🛒 Marketplace Terms

Seller Obligations

• Verification Required: Complete Stripe Connect verification before accepting payments
• Accurate Listings: Provide truthful descriptions, conditions, and photos of items
• Shipping Requirements: Ship items within 48 hours and provide tracking information
• Product Authenticity: Only sell genuine trading cards and collectibles
• Prohibited Items: No counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items
• Pricing: Honor listed prices and do not manipulate marketplace pricing

Buyer Obligations

• Payment: Complete payment at time of purchase via Stripe
• Disputes: Report issues within 7 days of delivery
• Accurate Information: Provide correct shipping address and contact details
• Fair Reviews: Leave honest, respectful seller ratings

Platform Fees

• Free Members: 5% seller fee + $0.30 per transaction, 5% buyer surcharge
• Premium Members: 4% seller fee + $0.30, 0% buyer surcharge
• Business Partners: 1.7% + $0.30 within $2,000 quota, A$149/month for upgraded tier
• All fees clearly disclosed at checkout before purchase

7-Day Escrow System

• Buyer funds held in escrow for 7 days after delivery confirmation
• Seller receives payout automatically after 7-day period
• Disputes must be filed within 7-day window
• CollectInn investigates disputes and determines fund release

💳 Payment and Billing

Payment Processing

• All payments processed securely through Stripe
• We do not store credit card or banking information
• Prices displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for purchases and subscriptions

Membership Subscriptions

• Free Tier: No monthly fee, limited features
• Nobilist ($35/month): 35 TOKINN monthly, reduced marketplace fees
• Royalist ($179/6 months): 179 TOKINN upfront, maximum benefits
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime via account settings (no refunds for partial periods)

Refunds and Chargebacks

• Membership fees are non-refundable
• Marketplace purchases eligible for refund if seller fails to ship or item misrepresented
• Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination
• Contact support before initiating chargebacks

🪙 TOKINN Virtual Currency

TOKINN System

• TOKINN is CollectInn's virtual currency with no cash value
• Cannot be purchased directly, only earned through platform activity
• Used for weekly giveaway entries (10 TOKINN per entry, max 5 entries)
• Non-transferable between users
• No refunds or exchanges for TOKINN

Earning TOKINN

• Membership purchases (35 TOKINN Nobilist, 179 TOKINN Royalist)
• Quest completion (standardized 2-8 TOKINN rewards)
• Energy chest rewards (85% chance for 2 TOKINN per chest)
• Auto-buyer bonus (3/6 TOKINN per A$20 sold, starting at 300 members)

TOKINN Restrictions

• CollectInn reserves the right to adjust TOKINN balances for fraudulent activity
• TOKINN has no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash
• Account termination results in forfeiture of all TOKINN

🎁 Weekly Giveaway Terms

Entry Requirements

• Must be an active CollectInn member
• Cost: 10 TOKINN per entry (maximum 5 entries per week)
• Giveaway unlocks when platform reaches 150+ active members
• Draws occur weekly (Friday 12:00 PM AEST)

Prize Distribution

• Fixed prize pool: $3,500 AUD maximum per week
• Winner selected randomly based on entry count
• Prizes consist of trading card products and event vouchers
• Winners notified via email within 24 hours of draw
• Physical prizes shipped to Australian addresses only (international shipping at winner's expense)

Winner Obligations

• Respond to winner notification within 7 days
• Provide accurate shipping information
• Prize forfeited if winner fails to respond or is unreachable
• Cannot transfer prize to another person

⚖️ Intellectual Property

CollectInn Ownership

• All platform content, design, code, and branding owned by CollectInn
• TOKINN, quest system, and gamification features are proprietary
• You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without permission

User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of photos and descriptions you upload
• By posting content, you grant CollectInn a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your listings
• You represent that you own or have rights to all content you post
• CollectInn may remove content that violates these Terms or third-party rights

Trading Card Trademarks

• Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! are trademarks of their respective owners
• CollectInn is not affiliated with or endorsed by these brands
• We facilitate secondary market trading only

🚫 Prohibited Conduct

• Fraud: Scamming, phishing, or misrepresenting items
• Counterfeits: Selling fake or altered trading cards
• Price Manipulation: Artificial inflation or market manipulation
• Account Abuse: Creating multiple accounts, credential sharing
• Payment Fraud: Chargebacks abuse, stolen payment methods
• System Exploitation: Exploiting bugs, automating actions, bot usage
• Harassment: Abusive messages, threats, or discriminatory behavior
• Data Scraping: Unauthorized data extraction or API abuse
• Reselling Winnings: Immediately reselling giveaway prizes for profit

📜 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

CollectInn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, reliability, or availability of services
• Freedom from errors, viruses, or harmful components
• Suitability for your particular purposes

Marketplace Transactions

• CollectInn is a platform connecting buyers and sellers
• We do not own, sell, or authenticate items listed on the marketplace
• We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers
• Condition, authenticity, and value of items are seller's responsibility

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollectInn shall not be liable for:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid to CollectInn in the past 12 months
• Issues arising from third-party services (Stripe, shipping carriers, etc.)

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, warranty, or other right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be lawfully excluded, restricted, or modified.

🔄 Modifications to Terms

CollectInn reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of CollectInn after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

⚖️ Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

1. Informal Resolution: Contact support at hello@collectinn.com.au to attempt informal resolution
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, disputes may be referred to mediation
3. Arbitration/Court: Unresolved disputes subject to binding arbitration or court proceedings in Sydney, NSW

Marketplace Disputes

• Buyer-seller disputes handled through CollectInn dispute resolution system
• Evidence required: photos, messages, tracking information
• CollectInn decision on fund release is final
• Serious fraud cases may be referred to law enforcement
